Insight Global is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst for a large financial services company in the Charlotte, NC area. This is going to be in the Treasury organization within the bank, and this individual will be looking into improving processes for the Treasury business’ quarterly forecast. This person will be responsible for process improvement/data cleanup for recovery and resolution for the bank. This person will be working closely with Internal Liquidity Stress Test (ILST) and other liquidity reporting. Candidates should have extensive work history in several of the following key responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise related to the implementation of new processes, risk management, efficiency, and technology convergence initiatives.
- Manages and resolves exceptions related to reference data and reconciliations, performs root cause analysis, and proposes solutions for process improvement
- Provide technical solutions and support related to liquidity management
- Identifying Opportunities for Improvement:
- Analyze existing liquidity reporting processes to identify areas for enhancement.
- Propose and drive process improvements, emphasizing efficiency gains and risk reduction.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with global teams across Finance, ensuring alignment with performance standards (SLAs).
- Provide continuous feedback to enhance liquidity reporting outputs.
- Data Quality and Reporting:
- Interface with relevant teams (such as RFDAR) to ensure data quality and streamline validation and exception processes.
- Act as a senior member of the monthly regulatory liquidity reporting team (Liquidity Measurement & Reporting “LMR”).
- Identify opportunities to utilize Python, Alteryx, and other tools to improve process gaps
- Data cleansing in Excel
Required Skills:
- 3+ years banking experience in process improvement/system updates
- Experience working in Treasury/Liquidity/Stress Testing is a plus
- SQL experience/strong data backgrounds
- Reporting experience/regulatory requirements exp
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUPS, Sum If, Index, Macros)
- Hands-on experience querying and analyzing large sets of data using SQL (data warehouse is Oracle)
- Tableau experience
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge and prior experience with Liquidity Reporting / Regulatory reporting
- Python/Alteryx experience
- Strong knowledge and prior experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practices
- Banking or Financial Experience
- Familiarity with BAC Enterprise Data Management Policy & Standards
- Treasury/Liquidity background
